Oregon's Oldest Coastline

I used to focus a lot of my attention to the area around Bandon for coastal scenes in Oregon but in recent years have turned my attention to the southern coastline near Brookings. Harris Beach State Park features some of the oldest geologic formations in Oregon and it's sea stacks are unlike what you encounter elsewhere along this coast. This area and the mountains behind Brookings were once islands in the Pacific that predate most of the rest of Oregon by tens of millions of years so the rocks are a fun treat if you get tired of basalt.

This is a small rocky beach area within Harris Beach State Park and just below the campground area and has become one of my new favorite places along the Oregon Coast to shoot.

I might use content aware fill for that - I don't want to chop off any of the foreground stones at the bottom.

It's hard to top Bandon, but Oregon sure does have lot's of awesome coast lines.
