This red rock area is just across from Abiquiu Lake in Northern New Mexico. A fine place to watch the clouds drift by on a September day.

Reminds me of some of the formations around the Vermillion Cliffs in southern Utah. I love the big dark cloud behind the butte.

Thanks Alan. It does resemble the Cliff Dwellers area to me also. One of these days I hope to make it to Casa Blanca which is also nearby!
