How about People - I am assuming you have some in the scene

Well I guess we could put "Street Photography", "Weddings" and "Sports" under "People" too. I thought about putting the concert photos there until I read the title of the group "People Portraits." Seems like we should have an "Events" group or something more appropriate for posting Concert photos.

Hey Tom,
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Everyone’s thoughts count here, that’s what a real community is about.
The Street forum is actually a forum we added because of feedback, along with a few of the other forums. So the idea of adding an Events forum is a good idea that we should think about.
As I am sure you would agree, it can be hard to sometimes separate where one forum might blend into the next. Most of the time it’s very clear where a photo should be placed, but there are still plenty of times it could be determined by a coin flip.
Let’s chew on this a bit, and see if any others have ideas too.

My first thought was people, but you're right that we already have several people oriented forums (weddings, sports, street, etc.). I think keeping "people" as dedicated to portraits makes sense. I'd cast my vote for "Events/Concerts".

"Events" might be useful all by itself - that allows a wide range of topics we could embrace without confining what might show up. I am all in favor of making sure we can have a place where photographers can post what they are doing and focused on.
