Paint it, grey

The Painted Hills in Central Oregon can appear to have striking colors under the right conditions, however, photographing them in Infrared shows them in an entirely new light. The painted hills turn grey while the monotones of the grass foreground reflect infrared in a most colorful way. 665nm converted Nikon DSLR.

Hmm - for all the times I have shot the Painted Hills I never tried doing it in IR. Very different looking result.

Super cool Michael! I like the look of it a lot, and that's cool using a camera as a prop.

That's an area I just haven't hit yet. I really need to get back up to Oregon and Washington.
