Palouse Roads

I've given myself a personal project of trying to capture as many roads in the Palouse as possible. Here are my latest road images from Spring 2025.

Enos Road - Sunrise pano stitched with a 150-600 lens.



Stateline Road - Dawn from Skyline Drive along the WA/ID border. The composition was constrained by the distance (taken with a telephoto) and foreground trees. I wish I could have more of the road in the lower right-hand, but the trees didn't allow it.



SD Kinder - Afternoon light along one of my favorite dirt roads. (North of Sunset, WA)



Coyote Road - Dusk along a gravel/dirt road between the St John highway and the Endicott-St John highway.

Fun tour of the out of the way places in the Palouse. Beautiful scenery that most of us wouldn't even know to look for. Thanks for sharing these locations.

It took more than a few minutes but I did find all of these roads on maps of the area. I wouldn't have known to zoom in on the WA-ID state line for that road. Its almost invisible on maps since the road and the state border lines overlap.
