Palouse sunset

Planning on a visit to this area in spring (likely early April). I was going through my archives of images from previous trips and ran into this which I never processed. If not for the current quality of available tools, I probably wouldn't have bothered. I had exposed for the sky the ground was pretty dark. Pushing this with older tools would have been a futile attempt.

Thanks. Took quite a bit to tease out the colors and textures. This was taken with a canon 5d mark ii which didn’t have as much DR as today’s sensors. The noise was Quite a bit in the ground layer. DXO pure raw did a pretty good job with the raw conversion.
