Hey Jim, nice work on this one. Thanks for sharing your workflow. I don't really have issues with blending in sharp objects over the same object that was soft. For example it's something we commonly do with shots of streams where we are shooting a slower shutter speed for the look of the water, but branches and grasses can then blur, so we shoot the same scene at a higher shutter speed to freeze the movement and then blend in those parts. Most of us usually have issues where something is being passed off as natural but yet the OP has pasted in objects that were never in the original.
