Patience - the Grand Finale

The grand finale for the color show I got a couple of nights ago. What started out as a potential dud of a sunset turned out to be one of the best this year A three panel stitch taken at 70mm.

Thanks Jim - that makes two of us. I did start getting excited once I saw the golden hues and realized that the skies over the Pacific were clear enough for these types of cloud colors to develop. Usually marine layers out over the Pacific kill off hues like these.

Thanks Jameel - I think I landed with only about 5% left on the battery with this flight session. The drone started complaining right as the colors finally faded out.
