Nikki and I have been talking about getting a cat. While on our walks we came across a LOT of strays but they always kept their distance. Not Penny. She eventually came running up to us and wanted to be held. We immediately knew she was special and carried her home. Soon after we got her to the vet and the only issue was dehydration. First couple of days she didn't have much energy but it didn't take long before she was running around and exploring her new home. Here's a few pictures of the few times I could get her to stay still long enough. We like to think that she chose us.

Hey Ben, I was going to email you to see how you were doing. I have been traveling a lot, so I always think of emailing while out in the desert or driving through Arizona.

That's so awesome that cat found you. I like its look being half Calico I think.

Thanks Jim. There's been a lot of changes for the better in my life lately. Penny couldn't have picked a better time to find us. Got my first speed light and will be learning that. Looking forward to sharing what I can capture with it.
