I have shot a scene almost identical to this at Valley of Fire. It wouldn't surprise me if this the same sandstone formation given how close this is to VoF as a crow flies.

Yup - and as a crow flies that's about 15 miles away from VoF. Lots farther driving but in terms of geological formations that's next door.
