Pond at Belmar Lake looking west

This is the same pond I posted in a previous post. That one was from the west side of the pond looking east, This second images is from the east side of the pond looking west with clouds and mountains in the background.

I like the overall view in this one although the deciduous trees in the earlier version (behind the viewer in this case) really stole the show with the IR filtering.

Thanks Alan you are right about the earlier image was more eye catching. I possibly should have walked to the platform below and shot from there and left the rail and stairwell out of the image and gave more emphasis on the trees around the pond.

Thanks Jim it is a great place for photography of birds as numerous bird nest here and different bird stop here as part of their migration route in the spring and fall!
