Thanks Alan for your comments, they were very much appreciated!Nice you got a chance to see the ground again before it gets smothered again. I like that you included the ponderosas on the right for a good sense of depth in the scene.
HI Jim, the snow missed us in Denver this time. My twin brother lives in Southern California and frequently gives me the weather report from out there from his swimming pool!Yep, 2 feet of snow on the way coming today! I am enjoying the exact opposite here in SoCal by being at the beach yesterday!
I really like this view, and I like color in this. With the ground layer being dead grasses works great. I like the tan color of the ground as it let's the green of the pine trees really stand out.
Ha ha, so I need to start sending you weather reports from the beach next time!HI Jim, the snow missed us in Denver this time. My twin brother lives in Southern California and frequently gives me the weather report from out there from his swimming pool!
I really wanted to get this view earlier when the sun was lower and side lighting the mountains, well maybe next time!![]()
Thanks Jim that would be nice as I sit in my warm office watching pictures on my computer!Ha ha, so I need to start sending you weather reports from the beach next time!
A lower sun might have made a nice change, but I have to say I really like this just as it is.
