Prairie flowers.

A recent trip to a local nature preserve rewarded me with lots of flowers and birds. This area is under constant threat of development so a dedicated group of volunteers works tirelessly to avoid more development. A worthy cause for sure.

Prairie roses were close to the ground so i was on my belly for these.

I like the rose shots but the cone flower is the one that keeps me looking. I have never seen that variant of a cone flower before and your capture of this one has a very nice level of detail (in camera stacking?).

Nice job all around. #1 & 3 get my vote. I've never seen that color on a cone flower before.

Trent, you really got down to business—literally! These low-angle shots are gorgeous. The prairie rose photos glow with softness and detail, and that purple coneflower pops like royalty against the creamy backdrop. You’ve turned wildflowers into portraits. Worth every grass stain.

Thanks Alan.. The cone flower was taken with the 90mm OM System macro but there was no stacking.

Super sharp Trent! I am not sure I am familiar with Prairie Roses, so it was great to see these, and it's surprising they are right on the ground like that.
