Rain

There had been thunderstorms forecasted and I wanted to photograph some lightning, but that didn't happen. So I headed over to Johnstown and decided to try some street photography in the rain. With no where for me to hide to keep the candid photographs candid, I decided to just shoot through the window of my truck as I was parked.

I shot some images with the rain drops out of focus, and I did some with the rain drops in focus. I captured quite a few people, but this was actually the only person who had an umbrella.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

I think the in focus drops make an interesting shot in this case.
Thanks Alan. I think that worked too. It was actually getting darker by this time, so I found that the OOF raindrops were starting to disappear into the darkness. I need to check out what I had imaged first as most of those had the rain drops as OOF.

The in focus raindrops works well. I am viewing on my phone and I had to zoom into the image to see the drops - otherwise it appeared more like a added grain ;)
