Reviews, comments on Nikon CoolPix 950 camera

Considering purchasing this camera for my partner. She uses her iPhone with skill but is frustrated trying to capture birds, for example. I know that she doesn't want to deal with an interchangeable lens system and prefers lightweight. Like me, she is in her mid 70's. Anyone out there have first hand experience with this camera?? Hi Michael, while Nikon P950 has excellent reach, in my experience, the telephoto end is not easy to get good steady shot, for people of age, I would gift a compact camera of 24-120mm, up to 150mm focal length.

Hey Michael,

I have heard very good things of that camera. I have no direct experience. I did buy a Nikon B500 for my granddaughter and she likes it and it gives more range then her iphone. The P950 has even more reach and I think it's a step or too more advanced then the B500 series.

So I would say get it for her, I think she will be happy with it.
