Ripple Glow is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at the Yonce Farm in Ridge Spring, SC. As I mentioned to Alan in my previous post, the DOF is extremely shallow with this combination of equipment. Here, I dealt with it by composing several versions with different focal points and then reviewing them during my inspection process at home on the computer to pick the one that best represented my artistic vision. I love what magnification can do all by itself. This is just a section of a backlit daylily where the magnification caused it to devolve down into simple colors and lines.
