Rosetta Nebula

It's been a while since I contribute to the group. I haven't imaged anything for some time due to clouds and so have been reprocessing prior data. So here's the Rosetta Nebula that I captured earlier this year. I've been learning about the Foraxx palette and applied it to this data.

Redcat 51, ZWO 533mc pro (gain 101, -10C), Star Adventure 2i, Asiair plus, guided, EAF. Optolong L-pro, 13x300" subs, Calibration frames; darks, flats, bias, Bortle 5. Stacked and processed in Pixinsight.

Sorry to hear about the clouds. That's no fun!

It's great to have you back and posting. I really like this one. There is a soft feel to it that I like. And not that the image isn't sharp, it's sharp, but that color palette with the more subtle colors is really pleasing.

As Jim says, the pastel feel top the palette works on this one, and the details are all there too - great work.

I know that feeling! I have come close to missing this last new moon as there was a bunch of family things going on that I couldn't avoid. I did get out though last Saturday night up in Rocky Mountain National Park and was able to get about 5 hours of imaging on the Crescent Nebula. I am posting it in a few, I think it came out decently.
