Gruesome walkup hour but an amazing sunrise shot as a result. Thanks for suffering so we could see it![]()
Thank you, and my pleasure! I also got to see some tarantulas, and wildflowers in November.Hey Michael,
I am glad you went! I would say you scored, a sky full of color.
It was well worth the early morning wakeup call. I am thinking on running back out there sometime during the week again, but not sure.
If not for my upcoming trip, I would have gone there too! Love it, Michael.Inspired by @JimFox and his images of the temporary lake in Badwater Basin, I voluntarily chose to wake up at 0230 so I could drive to this part of Death Valley National Park for sunrise. The color quickly fizzled, but I'd say this result was worth the effort.

This image was taken from the Natural Bridge trail. Lake Manly is still fairly large @JimFox. Although I did hear some comments about how quickly the lake is shrinking. If you want to go back, I'd do it sooner rather than later.Hey Michael,
How was the lake looking? Still really large? I wanted to get back out there this week, but life got in the way. But maybe I will run back out there next week.
Thanks Michael for that. Much appreciated. This image was taken from the Natural Bridge trail. Lake Manly is still fairly large @JimFox. Although I did hear some comments about how quickly the lake is shrinking. If you want to go back, I'd do it sooner rather than later.
