Salvage Week - 02/05/2024

Sorry for the late start this week. Ebird alerts indicted that a rare Striped-back Oriole was at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve in the Pheonix area so my wife and I went down to try and capture it. We had success. Here is the image.

Someone put the half orange on the branch to attract them to this location. They like fruit.

Now back to the business at hand. The image below is the first image I ever took of Upper Antelope Canyon. A that time all you had to do was go to the Navajo Chapter house in Page and buy a $5 permit and then drive up the wash to the canyon.

After some cropping and processing this is the final image.

Rework with today's technology.

How fun Doug to capture that Oriole!

Now, what a great recovery on Antelope Canyon.

Nice image of the Oriole.

I wish I could go wander around the canyon without being pushed around by the crowd. Nice recovery. I would crop out some more of the bottom to lose the ground with footprints.
