It is time for another salvage project. This week I worked on an image from Mt. Rainier. It had deep shadows and needed a better crop.

Good recovery on this one.I went to look for some of my old Mt Rainier photos to add to this Doug, but I don't have any with me.
So I went for Alaska, back in 2008 with a top of the line Nikon D300. Well, top of the line for me.
I don't photograph many birds, but when I saw a few puffins out on a cruise boat to the glaciers up there, I was estatic!

Great job on the camellia, Alan.I like the rework Doug!
Very nice recovery. Amazing what we can do these days with Photoshop. This Wild Turkey was in an open area in a forest where I was walking. I pointed my camera and zoomed in as it started to display. I was excited as I always wanted to get a wild tom with the full feather effect. I did not notice that I had moved the camera in my excitement and cut off the front and feet. I used another photo to get the feet and in photoshop extended the canvas and filled in the details.

I used this photo, flipped it so the feet were in the correct orientation and cut, pasted and changed the colour to complete the feet in the original shot.

Nice work to salvage this. I wonder what regenerative AI would have done though. This Wild Turkey was in an open area in a forest where I was walking. Interesting idea Jameel. I have tried it a few times and had terrible results so I expect I don't know what I am doing.Nice work to salvage this. I wonder what regenerative AI would have done though.
