Under a harsh midday sun, San Jacinto Mountain from the Palm Springs Visitor Center. I spotted these yellow flowers and well, it just had to be photographed!

Amazing how that desert is coming alive this year. Nice you were there to get to see/shoot the event. Neat shot.
It's weird though, with all of the Superbloom mentioned, it's very selective where it's at. Like Trona Pinnacles looks to have one of the best displays I have seen from online reports. But then Antelope Valley home of the famous Poppy Fields is totally wasted. Not a poppy can really be seen as the grasses sprouted so fast they choked out the Poppies.
Very cool Bob! That's a beautiful scene, and no wonder you took a photo of it.
I don't recall of those are Desert Sunflowers? Maybe @Douglas Sherman knows.

Got back to MN on Saturday. Home till Thursday and then to Chicago to visit newborn grandchild #3.
