Sawtooth Ridge

I am currently driving across Utah on the I-70. I pulled off at one of fantastic overlooks along the I-70 and decided to get a little time in with the drone. @Alisa and I had been discussing drones this morning so I was all amped up to get my drone up into the air.

Good perspective for these formations from the air. Most of the road from Salinas to Green River has some fun terrain for aerial photography.

Thanks Alan, yep it's a great area. I just stopped at the San Rafael Reef overlook area, I went through 3 batteries, it's super windy. Winds gusting up to 25-40mph. The mini handles well, though it chews up the battery fighting the wind.

time to upgrade to the mavic 3... just kidding. we've started using the mini as our indoor flying uav. it would help getting into some of those tight canyon spaces outside. nice image, i can see why they call it sawtooth ridge.

Ha ha! Yep, I would love the Mavic 3 Pro. Let me know when they give them away for free as that's the only way I could afford it.

Glad you like it Alisa. Yep, lots of places in Utah for drones, it's probably where I use mine the most.
