Scrub Jay

These birds are way too cool. Very friendly and quirky. One landed on my head while I was watching some woodpeckers. Needless to say they were fun shooting.

Noisy suckers too - these are the most common jays in the Pacific NW and there is never a problem locating them given their incessant squawking. Great set of images and as Ben already mentioned a great shot in that last image.

Oddly enough these florida one seem to be less vocal, And thank you Ben, Alan and Jim.
