Here are several of my favorite cheetah shots from my recent trip. I felt very fortunate to get close to these beautiful cats on almost every day of the trip. All of these were taken in the Maasai Mara.

I used the original (Mk1) version of the Canon EF 500 f/4. Number 3 also has a 1.4x extender.

Nice imaging, good for you to have these sightings. I was there. long ago, for 2.5 weeks and had one cheetah sighting one day.
