This target was mixed to bring out a more natural color style look while using narrowband data.
Sh2-54 (also called the Serpent Nebula) is a large emission nebula located roughly 6,000 light-years away in the constellation Serpens. It features active star formation, numerous protostars, and the open star cluster NGC 6604. It is part of a larger complex near the Eagle and Omega nebulae.
