This is a multi-flash photograph that freezes motion to 1/15,000th of a second or so. If viewed close you can see multiple catchlights from the flashes on the cornea. I usually remove all but on catch-light because in Nature there is usually only one light source. A juvenile male Anna's Hummingbird is getting the point from a female Anna's

Nice catch! I see these types of confrontations all the time at our feeders but with no detail whatever given the speed of these encounters.
