I am still tooling around southern Utah seeking elusive photo opportunities. But the few were fabulous. I was flying for a while and suddenly I needed to simply press return to home and put the controller down so I can pick up my real camera and make this image. It all worked out fine. I made some images including this one and when I turned around, the drone was safely parked. But that’s the backstory. After many days of clear mornings and nights this beauty finally showed up while I was in Escalante and I drove out and found my favorite campsite.
