At one point this weekend during the blizzard, U.S. 395 was closed from Bishop to Bridgeport. Before it opened, I had the chance to drive on it on Monday. I hadn't seen lenticular clouds reflected on pavement before. Also notice how green Mono Lake is due to high winds. Taken with an iPhone 13.

There were plenty of icy sections of 395, starting at the Mammoth airport. I hit a patch of ice at around 55 mph and nearly lost control over there. This shot was taken mid day so the ice had melted, but of course it'll refreeze overnight.
