It would make a great challenge to guess what this is supposed to be. Of course nothing is coming to mind for me. Maybe it's got an Aztec background?

An interesting curiosity to be certain. Looks like it's been there for a while at this point although not something truly ancient. If it's simply art for art's sake it has been successful as it got you to shoot it and us to scratch our collective heads over it.
