Spirit of the Lake

The annual Spirit of the Lakes Festival took place this weekend with a fireworks display that was simpily awesome. I am fortunate enough to watch the show from my back yard. We had invited some friends and our kids, had a nice barbecue dinner and went for a boat ride before the show. We feel so fortunate to be able to experience scenes like this from our home. This is our third summer here and we still pinch ourselves over the view we have.

This is a single 4 second exposure. I realize this may not qualify as a true 'landscape' image but it does include the lake as a landscape so I'm posting here.

Wow - great view of the fireworks show and the only crowd consists of people you invited over. Beautiful.
