I sure miss the Bristlecones! The smoke doesn't seem to bad, was this recent?

My favorites are #1 and 3. I love #1 and how you found that low, laying down Bristlecone and that really awesome foreground. So many details in it to capture the viewers attention.

Thanks everyone!

This was August 11th. The smoke was thick to the west (the Sierra wasn't visible at all), but it was clear in the White Mountains. It's been a bit smokier in Owens Valley, but it's nothing like the Creek Fire last year.
