Stormy Dogwoods

From a week ago in Yosemite National Park. I like rain, and I wanted overcast skies, and I got that the 2nd day in Yosemite. The sun was trying to break through a bit, but overall it was kind of dark in the forest so I tried to keep that same feeling. Maybe it's too dark, but I liked it and I think it represented my conditions.

That's Upper Yosemite Falls in the background. I took care to try and balance that in the background with the Dogwoods in the foreground. With all of the trees around me, the falls were not always in view.

It's actually pretty close to how it came out of the camera. I added some contrast and lightened up the foreground dogwoods a hair.

Thanks Adam! In my case the Dogwoods leaped through the open window of my truck and pulled me out! I had no choice.

I appreciate that Ed! I actually wanted to do that for years as Yosemite is my favorite place on earth. But I never did... at least I can still visit.
