Stornetta Coast Sunrise

I visited my dad over the weekend in Mendocino county and we started the day with a hike along the Stornetta coastline just south of Point Arena (you can see the lighthouse in the background). I always end up gravitating to this spot as I like the elements in the scene. The sunrise wasn't great, but zooming in a little sure helps to bring out the color.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Nicely framed scene - I really like the small island like terraces in the foreground with the pour off highlighting the edges and reflections on top. Maybe not a nuclear sunrise but some very nice colors anyway.

Those early morning pastels are perfect. Nuclear colors are awesome of course, but just having the pinks here makes for a great backdrop and I think allows the eyes to not be pulled away from this really well composed image. What a really great location!
