Summertime Gates of the Valley

Gates of the Valley, one of my favorite places in Yosemite. It's a place many visit, but few stay for long and especially early or late there are not many people.

This is a spot I tried last visit, but the water was so low I could not get a good comp. This is lovely.

Depends when you go Ben. The later in the year you go, the worse it will always look. My favorite time is the very end of April into the beginning of May while the waterflow is still high.

Yep, I was there in fall and it was a low water yer to boot so just a trickle.
