I wanted to try out my new toy (Canon RF 24/1.4) on some clear skies but didn't have time to drive a long way, so I went to a local park where I hoped the light pollution wouldn't be too bad.

I'm pretty happy with the lens performance. Next time I'll probably bump the ISO and reduce the exposure time to get rounder stars. This thing lets lots of light in.

15s at 24mm. I shot it at ISO 500. With the light pollution I couldn't really expose any brighter. For a similar shot I think I'll go with ISO 1000 and maybe an 8s exposure.
