I got up before sunrise, left my wife and daughter at the motel and drove up to Cedar Brakes. It was my first time there and I was rewarded with very nice early morning light. I got some very nice images, some of which I have previously posted here.

It was an unplanned visit, my wife and daughter and I were traveling back to Denver from LA through Vegas on I15 and decided to stop in Cedar City for the night. I saw a road sign pointing west to Cedar Breaks not far from the motel. I got up before sunrise and drove up there and had to get back by 10am to have breakfast with my family. It was a rush, but well worth the effort as I was rewarded with several nice images!

Beautiful light captured in your very nice image! I like your appropriate spelling of Cedar Brakes—if I remember correctly it’s very necessary to use your them to safely exit the park!
