Sunrise Blues

Waiting around on a beach at Harris Beach State Park on the Oregon coast for sunrise colors that never came to pass beyond the morning blues. I passed the time shooting long exposures and this was one of them.

I love it when I get up early enough to shoot the sunrise and get into position in time, but the sunrise just doesn’t light up. Most recently this happened to me on Sunday. Nice job making the most of your sunrise.

Thanks Michael - it did turn out to be a nice morning to hang out on the beach although I had hopes for a grand show. If I am up and out on an occasion like this I will start shooting no matter what actually comes to pass

Thanks - the anticipated color show was a disappoint but getting out to play in a place like this certainly isn't. I spent a lot of time in the nearby campground when I still owned an RV.
