Sunset and the Old Schoolhouse.

What an awesome sunset Brian! This is a really cool old building to play around with. Are there any wildflowers around it in the spring?

I like your off centered composition, and I sure like that sunset. 2 things that you should correct in this.

1. The vignetting in all 4 corners. It looks like it's from having a filter on, and that can happen when shooting very wide. In some cases you can use Lens Correction in ACR to correct for it, but this is really heavy in the corners so you either need to crop it out, clone or Content Fill away.

2. The Schoolhouse is leaning a bit from the Wide Angle. It's not horrible bad, but I would make sure the edge of the wall next to the left edge is parallel. You can use the Lens Correction. I would probably use the Warp tool to just pull the top of the wall out towards the edge just a bit.

If you try the Warp Tool, you will see there are handles in each corner and 2 more handles along each edge that you can "Pull or Push" with. Use the one that will end up being about the top of the schoolhouse and pull it out of the frame just a bit and you will see that wall straighten up nicely. What's great with the Warp Tool as opposed to the Lens Correction is you won't "lose as much of the whole photo as you would with Lens Correction. You can try both and see what I mean.

Thanks Jim. I will work on those for sure. I appreciate it.

Lovely, Brian. I wonder how many beautiful sunsets that structure has seen?

Jim is right. Lose the corner vignette. The schoolhouse does have one nice vertical edge so you only need to straighten the left side, though maybe not perfectly to maintain some oldness (is that a word?). It will be a challenge to use the warp, perspective, and distort tools here.
