Sunset Glow

Although the canyon walls appear to be more sand colored, this is named Red Rock Canyon State Park in California. A lovely bit of color to start the evening off well. And somehow, in October, I was one of only a few campers!

That's an interesting park that doesn't get a lot of attention. Interesting formations but I failed to spot any seriously red rocks when I last visited that place in 2019. I like your sunset glow in the clouds.

I was only there once, but have since found that the area is full of interesting 4x4 trails that deserve a return visit. It's also home to many magnificent Joshua Trees!

And my mood is lifted when I see these kinda colors! This is very near the Trona Pinnacles so easy to make a full day visit.
