Hello all. Jim suggested that I start a "Super Moon" thread so that everyone could share images from this December. Here are a few to start it off. Please show us what you got!

Oh man.... Great shots Ryan, especially the first one where you have the moon setting with a bush in front of it.
But now by my asking you to start this thread, it means I now need to go edit and process a couple of my Super moon or Pre Super moon shots too... All I did was make more work for me... sigh...

Ryan, I love the 3rd one, with the lighting on the moon & the detail in the moon. The others are gorgeous too, but I am missing the moon detail!

No such luck here in the pacific NW with cloudy skies
Would have loved to see details on the moon for the first shot. Ideally a blend of shots metered for the moon and the foreground.

I hear you Jameel. I tried to get more shots during the very short window while the moon was in the notch. The wind was blowing about 20 MPH and my tripod is kind of wimpy. Lot's of movement at 600. I had to wait for the wind to let up and get what I could. I will check the other shots to see if anything turned out.

Okay guys, I did some more work on this image at your request. I found an image of the moon and tree with better detail. Any better?

Jim, that is very nice, and I really don't miss the moon detail, as the clouds should be hiding it!
