Swan Portrait (Taken on a light setup!)

We have loads of swans here in our local harbour area (Bray). Tried a slightly different shot from usual of a swan feeding. Took this on Canon R7 with rf 100-400 which is an effective range of 640mm on crop sensor though F8. It's a super light little set up and weighs about a third I reckon of say Canon R5 + RF 100-500 so much easier on the arms.

Pretty nice result. I like the level of detail you got with this lens/camera.

I do have to admit that the RF100-500mm is anything but lightweight although I have grown used to it anymore. It isn't much different for weight from my old EF100-400mm so that was my only point of comparison. I have to add the RF2.0x extender to get up to 640mm but with the extender in place I have 600-1000 and have to remove the extender to get back under 600mm. Your solution sounds like a good walkaround combination.
