We came upon this grizzly (the ranger said he was likely a "sub adult") near Two Ocean Lake on Sunday. My heart rate did rise when he turned and started heading in our direction...
Thanks Ben - we were definitely lucky with this one. He was even nice enough to let me get my camera onto my tripod before he got up from his nap.Congratulations on getting a griz, I have only seen than at distance without a camera in hand.
This was my wife's first time seeing a bear in the wild. I loved watching her alternate between coming up and watching the bear versus retreating back to the car (showing more good sense than I have)!Nice set, Kyle. Yeah, they do get your heart rate going. And a little adrenaline, too.
Thanks Jim - that works for me since #1 is slightly out of focus (which bothered me because I like the pose).Oh wow Kyle! These are... intense!!! Like Ben all of my grizzly sightings have been from a distance. #2 or 3 is my favorite but not sure which.

Oh, my! You had a grizzly heading towards you & you took the time to put your camera on a tripod?!
