Teton Lights

I love the Tetons! Some friends and I Backpacked the Teton Crest Trail in 2015. My mom and I went there this last summer. When we arrived we couldn't even see them due to all the smoke from the fires burning in the other states. This was shot on our last morning there...CC is most welcomed on this shot. It is one of my favorites from this year however the foreground has some blur.

Classic scene - very nice clouds for your shot.

Maybe you could crop a little from the bottom to make it kind of a panorama image to cut out the blurry grass? You don't want to lose any of the scene on the sides.

I love the light on the mountains in this. Really beautiful. The barn already feels a little cramped, so I'm not sure I'd want to crop anything. Maybe do a little burning on the foreground to obscure the oof grass?

The oof grasses bother me not! They serve to set the barn and mountains in a good looking distance perspective.
Love the light on the peaks! Nicely done!

Ahhh, the Tetons! Love them. Perhaps a little contrast added to the barn and mountains would help pull the eye away from the oof grass (although it really isn't bad).

Hey Alisa,

I sure love those clouds, and that great light on the peaks! This is a stunner of a shot.

As Landscape photographers we get trained to catch OOF area's in an image, so we will notice the bottom grasses being OOF. But I think in this case the rest of the image is really so strong, I think that the mind doesn't get a chance to think about the OOF area.

Alisa,
Another vote for don't worry about the OOF area the shot is so strong I'm looking past it. I'm more concerned with the cramping of the barn left side. If you cropped there I would go back and leave some breathing room. If not I would try to be aware of it in the field next time.
Regards,
Dean

I like the soft light on the mountains, probably would be tempted to increase the contrast a bit, the "vignetting" is kinda distracting though...

Cheers!
