The Aurora Pulls up to the Dock

I was on the Little Island of the Myres Big Island State Park in Minnesota for the awesome Oct 10th Northern Light display. I had 4 cameras going, this was a Nikon Z6II with the Sigma 14mm f1.4 and Sony to Nikon Z adapater. I was running around with this camera taking images for pano's. This is a 2 shot pano. I had my D850 set up right out of view on the Dock to image the Northern Lights from this spot.

Nikon Z6II
Sigma 14mm f1.4 with adapter to Nikon Z
ISO 3200
1.6 sec shutter
f1.8

All comments are welcome,

Jim

The reflections in the water are way cool, but I think I'd prefer a tighter image without the peripheral tree branches.

Thanks Michael. I will have to see if I can get a tighter image out of this.

There was also the fishing pier that I shot from, it won't have trees. This small dock was surround to the lake edge with trees so they were impossible to really avoid from that spot.

I'm with Michael. I'd like either more trees or less.
I was pretty happy with the amount of leaves on the sides. I think if there was more it would minimize the Northern Lights too much.

But I will see what other images I shot, I don't recall if I have any from that spot with less or more trees in them. I will have to look.
