The blue hour by the sea is always worth witnessing

Doesn't matter if I take or not home a good shot, many a times I come back home without even pressing the shutter and question myself if I go hike because of photography or if I photograph because of hiking but, at the end of the day, who cares...

Fully agree - I love watching the water along the ocean shorelines. Nice when it allows me to get a good photo too. You have one that evokes a calm feeling with the smooth waters.

That is so true, hiking has the tactile advantage of touch, smell and ambiance of presence. This image is a wonderful reminder of being there and is also some seriously good photography.

I appreciate all of your comments, so far the sea was not smooth at all, it was just at the end of a very tough storm and if it looks calm it's because of the very long exposure, if you look at another shot in the BW forum you can see another long exposure, in the 5' range if I recall correct, where you can have an idea of the waves.
