The Firebird

A shot from the grocer's garden in late April. The bloom is a Firebird Dahlia and if it looks familiar that because I posted a shot of one these a couple of weeks ago. This is a different set of blooms not far from the previous one I posted and shot on the same day as the first one. The nice part about shooting the plants for sale is that the displays are almost never the same and usually have blooms far enough along to entice your to buy them. Or just to take pictures if you are so inclined

Thanks Jameel - this was an iPhone 15 Pro shot processed using a linear profile. Hard to go wrong with some raidrops.

Thanks Jim - the nurseries that supply the grocery stores usually make some nice arrangements in their pots to help sell the plants so all I have to do is compose the shot
