Eeek! Those are no fun at all. Impressive image of the approaching cloud of dust.
Back in the 1950's air conditioning wasn't common in Phoenix houses. We had left the windows open in our house while we were at a movie theater and one of those dust storms hit. There wasn't a square inch of the inside of our house that wasn't covered in a layer of dust.

That would be horrible Alan. I can't imagine how hard that would be to clean, if it ever even got completely cleaned.
You are quite brave to launch your drone in the face of that storm to capture it. That is quite a sandstorm.

It took weeks. There was a record sitting on a turntable in the house HiFi system (mono in those days) that had almost 1/4" of dust on it.
