The Harvest Super Partial Eclipse Moon

Yes, that is right! Tonight was a Harvest Super Partial Eclipse Moon! I was on the road traveling today and just north of Las Vegas when it rose above the horizon. Here on the West Coast, the Partial Eclipse was already at its maximum when it rose. So it looked pretty cool.

This is captured with the Seestar S50.

Handy to have that scope on board for quick roadside work like this. We saw clouds.
Thanks Alan! It's not as fast as putting a long lens on my camera and capturing the moon. Setting up the Seestar can be setup in about 2 mins. Though it can have issues finding the moon, so in this case, I had it set up in 2 mins, but it took about 5 mins to find the moon. So it's faster then setting up a regular Astro rug which can take an hour or so. But not as fast as a regular camera.

Very nice Jim! Another really nice and easy SeeStar capture. It seems to really excel at the Sun and Moon for sure.
