The Milk Before the Way

When I was in Arches NP recently, one of the reasons I went there was that super cool storm during the day. But I also went because the sky was supposed to clear up after sunset, which I wanted so I could capture the Milky Way. Well it did clear up, but then after a few hours the clouds came back. Fortunately as the Milky Way was rising they disappeared again.

But I really liked the Midnight Magic for the clouds too. The shape of the clouds blowing through looked cool I thought. This was about 12:30am.

That's really cool! The clouds were light enough for the stars to shine through. Serendipity wins again.

Almost like mother nature was doodling with the clouds. Quite the blast of light from Moab in the distance.
Thanks Alan. Yep, it's a pretty bright light dome there. It used to bother me, but I have gotten used to it as there is nothing really to be done about it.
