My local river after all of the heavy rain is too high to allow me to get into good positions for"normal" landscape photography so a long lens (180mm) and focus on a tiny "stopper" to see how it changed over a few seconds.

Very cool - I love looking around for small scenes like this and neat splashing around rocks and other impediments including clashing water flows can yield some fun subjects. I think #2 and #4 are my favorites of the close in shots and I love the colors in the falls depicted in the last image. Nice way to get some takeaways from adverse conditions.

Wow Ken! Smart thinking to use a longer lens. It's fun to see the difference between them. #2 is my favorite.

But with that said, I sure do like that wider pano view you captured! Great job on going with a pano crop for that.

I love doing that, a soothing way to spend time on a hot day. That sequence on one spot could make a nice dissolve sequence in a slideshow.
